Icelandic National Broadcaster ‘Bankrupt’

“RÚV can no longer serve everyone all the time. It doesn’t work out,”

Progressive Party MP Karl Garðasson declared at Alþingi, the Icelandic parliament, on Wednesday that RÚV, the national broadcasting service, was essentially “bankrupt,” and that courage is needed to review its operations and everything concerning public limited companies, Iceland Review reports.

RÚV can no longer serve everyone all the time. It doesn’t work out,” Karl commented, as reported in Fréttablaðið. He added that tough questions must be answered.
