Statoil's second exploratory drilling in the Faroese seabed near the UK border has been concluded and no carbohydrates have been found, NORA Region Trends reports.

Statoil's first attempt to discover oil in the Faroese seabed earlier this year was also unsuccessful, but hopes remained high for the second round of drilling until last week, when the results were clear.
