Over 200 Earthquakes in Bárðarbunga over Weekend

The volcanic eruption in Holuhraun continues with similar intensity to recent weeks, according to Iceland Review.

There were over 200 earthquakes in the Bárðarbunga caldera over the weekend, 44 of which were larger than magnitude 3.0. The largest were magnitude 5.3 at 5:54 pm on Sunday and 1:05 this morning.

Over 70 smaller earthquakes were detected in the dike over the weekend.
