Noen måneder etter planen ankom Sysselmannens splitter nye tjenestefartøy Longyearbyen torsdag, melder Svalbardposten.

«Polarsyssel» skal døpes på gammelkaia lørdag formiddag av tidligere sysselmann-jurist Inger Aarvag Stokke, og med justisminister Anders Anundsen til stede.

Kontraktsummen er på 329 millioner kroner over ti år.
