NATO Secretary General to Visit Northern Norway

The Secretary General will meet the Prime Minister of Norway, Jonas Gahr Støre, the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Espen Barth Eide, and the Minister of Defence, Tore Sandvik.

He will also join a number of military field activities during his visit.

"Rutte will visit a part of the country that is important for receiving allied forces. We will showcase joint training between Norwegian and other NATO countries' military forces. And he will receive some in-depth briefings from our best, about the entire Norwegian strategic picture", says Støre to VG.

The visit will take place in Tjeldsund municipality in Troms, Northern Norway.
