A detachment of ships and vessels of the northern fleet set off from the main navy base of Severomorsk in the Barents Sea. This was reported by the press-service of the Western military region, russian Arctic-Info reports:
The main objective of the detachment's expedition is to deliver personnel, equipment and assets of the task force of the Northern Fleet, which this year will serve at Novosibirsk Islands on a regular basis.
