Pirates Largest Party Fourth Month in Row

The Pirate Party is the most popular political party in Iceland for the fourth month in a row, according to the latest Gallup poll. Meanwhile, the Progressive Party-Independence Party coalition government has 36 percent support.

The Pirate Party was first recorded as the largest party in April, when it received 34 percent support. According to the latest poll, the party enjoys 32 percent support for the second month in a row, Iceland Review reports.

Support for the Independence Party is stable at 24 percent while the Progressive Party and the Social Democratic Alliance have grown slightly and now both measure roughly 12 percent.
