For halvannet år siden startet Hattfjelldal kommune forprosjektet hvor de skulle finne ut om de skal søke om å komme med i det samiske språkforvaltningsområdet.

Onsdag gikk Hattfjelldal kommunestyre inn for at de skal søke om å komme med i det samiske språkforvaltningsområdet, og det var et enstemmig kommunestyre som bestemte seg for å sende søknaden til Kommunal- og moderniseringsdepartementet, melder NRK Sápmi.
