New CEO of the Arctic Philharmonic

Trud Berg (51) has been appointed the new CEO of the Arctic Philharmonic AS and will have her first day of work in the late fall of 2024 in Bodø. Berg comes from the position of communications manager of Nova Sea AS.

"We are very pleased that Trud Berg has accepted the position of CEO of the Arctic Philharmonic," says board chair Tove Karoline Knutsen in a press release.

"Trud has an exciting and diverse background, with leadership experience from politics, business, and public operations. She is a passionate cultural person, combined with a solid education in economics and leadership, making her particularly suited to head the region's largest and most important cultural institution," says Knutsen.

"The position as CEO of the Arctic Philharmonic is one of the most exciting jobs the Norwegian culture sector can offer," says Berg.

"The Arctic Philharmonic is a proper Northern Norwegian success, yet much must be done before one is financially on a par with similar institutions in Norway. It has been a truly exciting and educational period in the fish farming industry. I now look forward to new challenges in the cultural sector," says the new CEO.
