US Money to Increase Education Capacity in Greenland
An education partnership funded by the U.S. State Department, the Arctic Education Alliance, is to create training programs in Greenland covering sustainable tourism, the service industry, as well as land and fisheries governance, Sermitsiaq reports.
The cooperation agreement is worth USD 1.8 million over two years.
The initiative will be led by Alaska Fairbanks University and the Greenland Climate Research Center at Greenland University.
