Russia Denies Involvement with Fake Letter

The Russian Embassy in Copenhagen denies any knowledge of the faked letter that recently appeared on social media, according to Berlingske. The letter was alleging to be from Greenland’s Foreign Minister to a US Senator and apparently aimed at creating division between Denmark and the USA.

The Russian Embassy in Copenhagen calls the allegations that the country is behind the letter "irresponsible, unfounded and built on a wrongful understanding about Russian policy in the Arctic".

"Russia never has and never will interfere with relations between Arctic states", the Embassy is quoted to be writing in a disclaimer that has been posted on several social media.
