Royal Greenland Acquires in Canada

Royal Greenland is seeking to acquire Quinlan Brothers, one of the largest fishing companies in Canada, according to Sermitsiaq.

Quinlan Brothers focuses on shrimps, crabs and processing plants.

The acquisition is subject to government approvals related to licenses and quotas.

In 2016, Royal Greenland acquired Quin-Sea Fisheries, which was previously owned by the same company as Quinlan Brothers. The two companies now seem set to be reunited under Greenlandic ownership.
