Residence for Battery Employees

Forenom and Real Eiendomsforvaltning have entered into a contract with Freyr Battery to provide housing for new employees in Mo i Rana, Northern Norway.

"In order to succeed in recruiting to the extent that Freyr Battery needs, housing will be a critical factor. Without a good place to live, it will be difficult to get hold of the necessary skills that we need," says the recruitment manager at Freyr, Brigitte Skjefstad in a press release.

"We expect several hundred new employees in the coming year to work in the factory, most of whom currently live outside the region."

"We are growing and are very satisfied with the agreement we have with Freyr Battery in Mo i Rana and we are very much looking forward to establishing ourselves more strongly in Mo i Rana," says Thomas Ortega, customer manager at Freyr at Forenom.

Real Eiendomsforvaltning, which is part of the Bohlin Group, will assist with inspections and viewings of homes for Freyr's new employees.
