President Biden Nominates General Brown as Next Joint Chiefs of Staff

President Biden Thursday introduced General Charles “CQ” Brown Jr. as his nominee to be the next Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff.

General Brown has served as chief of staff of the Air Force since June 2020.

If confirmed by the Senate, Brown will replace General Mark Milley as the president’s senior military adviser.
