The Norwegian Prime Minister Jonas Gahr Støre participated in One Planet – Polar Summit, a summit on the polar regions and other areas where glaciers and sea ice are threatened by global warming. Norway is present at the summit as a leading polar nation and chair of the Arctic Council (2023-2025).
"Norway is the only state in the world with areas in both the Arctic and Antarctica," said Støre, according to a press release.
