Norway's Arctic Strategy to be Presented on August 26th

Norway's Minister of Local Government and Regional Development, Kjersti Stenseng, and Minister of Foreign Affairs, Espen Barth Eide, will present the government's Arctic strategy in Kirkenes, Northern Norway, on Tuesday, August 26th.

This was announced in a press release.

Through the strategy, the government will identify the direction for further policy and set priorities to safeguard Norway's core interests in the North, the release states. It also states that State Secretary Kristine Joy Nordenson Kallset at the Ministry of Justice and Public Security will also present.

On the same day as the Arctic Strategy's presentation, events will take place in Tromsø, Bodø, and Vadsø related to the government's initiatives in the North.
