Norway, Iceland and Greenland Agree on New Capelin Deal
Iceland, Greenland and Norway have agreed on a preliminary capelin quota of 21,800 tons, out of which Norway has been allocated 19,119 tons for 2021, according to Kyst og fjord.
The total quota (TAC) will be set only after a new research mission is completed this month.
Each country’s share of the quota is set based on a percentage of the TAC, quota transfers from the EU and some from the so-called ‘Loophole Agreement’.
