North Norwegian fiberoptic cable to Greece

ADMIE, an independent power supplier, has awarded Nexans a € 111 million contract to produce a sea cable connection between the Greek city Lavrion and the island Syros. The fiberoptic cable will be produced at Nexan’s facility in Rognan, Northern Norway.

The sea cable connection project for the Cyclades in Greece aim to secure reliable and sufficient supply of electric power to the Greek islands of Syros, Paros, Tino, Mykonos and Naxos.
