New Norwegian-Russian Border Agreement

The new Norwegian-Russian border agreement entered into force on Friday 8 February 2019, according to a press release from the Norwegian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

The Agreement builds on previous border agreements between the two countries, a.o. from 1826 and 1949, and provides a 1,000 pages long detailed description of the demarcation line as well as other issues of relevance for the demarcation line.
