New Government in Iceland

Iceland’s new coalition government was announced earlier this week, and now the Alþingi [parliament] is to approve the government’s new division of labor among 12 ministries, RUV Iceland reports.

Only the prime ministry, the finance ministry, and the health ministry remain unchanged in their role and scope. All other ministries see changes.

This is the second government of Prime Minister Katrín Jakobsdóttir.
