NATO Delegation to Visit the Norwegian Joint Headquarters in Bodø
On Wednesday, June 4th, a large delegation from Joint Force Command Norfolk will arrive at the Norwegian Joint Headquarters at Reitan outside Bodø, Northern Norway.
That was reported by NRK today.
Last month, it was announced that NATO's Combined Air Operations Center (CAOC) will be located at Reitan, outside Bodø.
The purpose of the visit is so-called warfighting talks at Reitan, a forum where military leaders, defense experts, and other relevant actors gather to discuss strategies, tactics, technology, and conceptualization of modern warfare.
Vice Admiral Doug Perry, who heads NATO's Joint Force Command Norfolk, will visit to discuss the establishment of NATO's Air Operations Center, as well as NATO's commitment and role in the Arctic, according to NRK.
