More Oil at the Goliat Field

More oil reserves have been discovered at the Goliat field in the Barents Sea. The new find is located some 2 kilometers from the Goliat FPSO (Floating Production, Storage and Offloading) platform, according to petro.no.

Preliminary calculations indicate that the new discovery lies somewhere between 4.4 and 13.8 barrels.

The resources may be connected with the Goliat FPSO in the near future. Equinor Energy AS is the operator on the license.
