Millions to Greenlandic Start-Up Initiative

A new start-up initiative for Greenlanders with bright ideas, a so-called ‘virtual growthhouse’, has been secured a funding of DKK 7.5. million over the next four years on the Danish national budget, according to Sermitisaq.

The money has been allocated through the Nukiga organization, which was founded in 2016 by the House of Greenland in Aarhus, Denmark. The purpose of the HoG is to establish closer ties between students, start-ups and companies in Denmark and Greenland.
