Iditarod 2024 Is Underway

The 52nd edition of Iditarod started yesterday, March 3rd.

38 mushers and their dogs participate in the race, which starts in Anchorage, Alaska. This is one of the lowest numbers of participants ever.

The Iditarod is a sled dog race in Alaska in the United States. The race has been organized annually since 1973 and is 1,575 km long. It is the world's longest and most prestigious dog race.
