Halla Hrund Logadóttir Leads the Presidential Election

According to Gallup's new "National Pulse" survey and RUV, Halla Hrund Logadóttir (Unaffiliated) has by far the most support of all the presidential candidates in Iceland. 36 percent would vote for her if elections were held today. This is the largest support that Halla Hrund has received in opinion polls.

Former Prime Minister of Iceland, Katrín Jakobsdóttir (Left Movement – Green Candidature) enjoys the second highest support among the population, with a support rate of 23 percent. She is followed by Baldur Þórhallsson (Unaffiliated), who 19 percent say they would vote for.

Former Mayor of Reykjavik Jón Gnarr (Social Democratic Alliance) would get the votes of 10 percent of the voters. It is the second lowest support he has had in opinion polls in the last month.
