Greenland’s Language Secretariat Names Toes

Greenland’s language secretariat has recently approved a propsal to name alle toes on the foot. While there would previously only be names for the big toe and the little toe, they all have names now.

In Greenlandic, they will henceforth be known as putugoq, tikeraq, qiterleraq, mikileraq (isikkami mikileraq) og eqeqqoraq, according to Sermitsiaq.
