Greenland Opens Office in Beijing

The Greenlandic representation office in Beijing has now opened, according to Sermitsiaq. The office is led by Jacob Isbosethsen, who was appointed earlier this year.

The representation office in Beijing shall work to promote economic, trade and cultural ties between Greenland and Asia, in particular China, but also Japan and South Korea.

Earlier this year, the Greenlandic self-rule government Naalakkersuisut agreed with the parliament, Inatsisartut, to open a representation office in Beijing.
