Greenland Minerals Leaves Greenland

Greenland Minerals shuts down activities in Greenland and the company’s director John Mair resigns, according to Sermitsiaq.

The company has for more than 12 years tried to obtain an exploitation license for rare minerals at Kuannersuit (Kvanefjeld), near Narsaq.

The company will maintain relations with the self-rule authorities in Greenland, the Naalakkersuisut, and the company has appointed a new director to follow Mair, who has been at the helm for seven years.
