Greenland Eases Up Cruise Tourism Restrictions

Greenland’s Naalakkersuisoq (Minister) for Trade Pele Broberg (N) says restrictions on cruise traffic will be lifted as of 2nd March, according to Sermitsiaq.

He says this apples in particular to the rule stating that ships may not berth if they have been to other countries for the past 14 days.

The requirement that tourists entering Greenland onboard cruise vessels must be vaccinated will nevertheless remain in force.

The new guidelines will not apply to fishing vessels. People arriving Greenland onboard fishing vessels will thus not be covered by the vaccination requirement.
