Faster Visa Track for Chinese Tourists to Greenland

Danish authorities in collaboration with the Danish Embassy to Beijing have introduced a fast-track scheme for Chinese who want a visa in order to visit Greenland, according to KNR.

While a normal visa application process to Denmark, including Greenland, takes two to three weeks, it will now only take three days, provided that the tour operator is affiliated with the ADS certification arrangement.

The number of Chinese tourists on Greenland increased by nearly 50 percent from 2015 to 2017, when 1,251 Chinese visited Greenland.
