The EU Wants Input on New Arctic Policy

The EU is updating its Arctic policy and seeking feedback.

The EU is revising its Arctic policy to reflect today’s realities — from climate and sustainability to security and resilience. This update will build on the 2021 framework while addressing new challenges without losing sight of core priorities: environment, research, regional development, and Indigenous rights.

The public consultation is open from December 22nd, 2025, to March 16th, 2026.
