Corona Hits Hard on Greenland’s Fish Export
The export value of Greenland’s fisheries dropped by DKK 130 million during the first seven months of the year, compared to the same period last year.
This equals a drop of 4.7 percent of the total export value, according to KNR. It is in particular prices on prawns and cod that have dropped, according to Statistics Greenland.
The consequences of the current Covid-19 pandemic are listed as the main reason for the drop in fish export value.
