Call for Oil Exploration Bids in the Barents Sea

The Norwegian Ministry of Oil and Energy yesterday announced its 25^th bidding contest for oil exploration licenses. This round overs eight areas in the Barents Sea and one in the Norwegian Sea.

The Ministry aims to grant new licenses during the second quarter of 2021.

The application deadline is set at 23 February 2021, according to the Ministry.
