Barack Obama Wins Third Emmy

Former US President Barack Obama nabs his 3rd Emmy for Our Oceans narration. The five-part Netflix series was released in November 2024.

It was filmed in underwater documentary style, and spectators got a sense of marine ecosystems - from colorful coral gardens to Arctic walrus colonies.

Obama effectively told scientific stories about the dire state of complex environmental topics.
