Australian Ironbark with Billion Investment from the USA for Greenland Zinc Mine

Australian mining company Ironbark gets a loan of DKK 4.3 billion from the U.S. Export Import Bank for its major zinc mine project in Citronen Fjord in Greenland, according to KNR.

In 2016, Ironbark received its extraction license for the mine.

The company expects that it will cost DKK 3.3 billion to construct the mine. The goal is to keep it in operation for 14 years and create at least 500 jobs.
