Arctic Test Center to be Established in Nuuk

Sermersooq (Greenland) and Aalborg (Denmark) municipalities Friday signed an agreement about developing an Arctic test center in Nuuk, according to Sermitsiaq.

The test center will be the location for a series of tests with green technologies under extreme climate conditions and is also to be part of breaking new ground for green technology in the Arctic.

The test center will be part of Greenhub Denmark, a collaboration network consisting of enterprises, institutions, organizations and municipalities in the North Jutland region in Denmark dreaming about transforming North Jutland into a new Silicon Valley for green technology.
