Hurtigruten to Alaska and the Northwest Passage

Norwegian cruise operator Hurtigruten sails in Alaska for the first time ever when offering voyages in Alaska with MS Roald Amundsen as of the summer of 2020, according to a press release.

Hurtigruten will be the first operator ever to offer voyages with hybrid vessels in Alaska. The cruise voyages will explore renown places such as the Inside Passage in combination with ports that are hardly ever visited, such as the ‘Norwegian’ port of Petersburg, with cruises lasting from 12 to 18 days.

The MS Roald Amundsen will finish off the 2020 season with an epic voyage through the Northwest passage, going from Nome, Alaska via Greenland to Halifax, Canada.
