Wants More Greenlanders in the Arctic Command

The Danish defense minister wants more Greenlanders to join the Arctic Command, according to KNR.

Danish Defense Minister Trine Bramsen says the defense needs knowledge about the Arctic that can only be acquired through growing up there.

Last year, the Danish defense introduced military selection sessions in Nuuk. This year, the offer will be expanded to also take place in Qaqortoq, Sisimiut and Aasiaat.
