Norway, Sweden and Finland to Cooperate about Operation Planning

The Norwegian, Swedish and Finnish Ministers of Defense this week signed an agreement about enhanced defense cooperation. The agreement facilitates cording military operations in crisis and conflicts.

“This is a concrete measure taken to strengthen the operative defense cooperation between our three countries. The goal of this agreement is to enable coordination of current and future operation planning”, says Norwegian Defense Minister Frank Bakke-Jensen.

He received the Swedish Defense Minister Peter Hultquist and the Finnish Defense Minister Antti Kaikkonen at the Garrison in Porsanger, near the Russian border.
