Kremlin has confirmed that Russian President Vladimir Putin is to meet the US State Secretary today, TASS reported early this morning. Russia's Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov will be present at the talks.

Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Sergey Rybakov told TASS that the talks will focus on international problems and Russian-US bilateral issues.

- Issues for discussion will include the situation in the world in broad terms and Russian-American relations with all their problematic elements, Ryabkov said.

- There will be time to systematically and comprehensively go through the most complicated and hardest agenda which is not improving, point by point," the diplomat said.

Although it’s been two years since Kerry’s last visit to Russia, the US State Secretary continues to maintain regular contact with the Russian Foreign Minister, the diplomat noted.
