To filmskapere ønsker å vise at Arktis er mer enn isbjørn, og det gjør de ved å portrettere 25 forskere og andre som i fjor sommer var i Resolute Bay i Nunavut nord i Canada.

The Arctic Journal skriver:

“The idea of profiling scientists is quite simple,” O’Kane says. “I wanted to shed light on why field research is fascinating and also on why it is important. It originates from my own fascination with field research and the Arctic. I studied environmental science and physical geography at (Canada’s) Queen’s University and was quite involved in research there.
