Looking for High North young entrepreneurs

The High North Young Entrepreneur award is now looking for competitors from all across the High North, according to a recent announcement. Companies and individual entrepreneurs from any country and sphere are eligible to apply, provided that their business idea somehow is related to the circumpolar north.

The contest is an international pitch competition of Arctic-related business ideas of young entrepreneurs and start-ups. The overall goal for the contest is to bring attention to the economic potential and special needs of the Arctic areas and to encourage young people of the High North to develop their business ideas. The winner will receive a check of NOK 50,000.

The entrepreneurial award was presented for first time in 2018, following a donation to this purpose from the 2017 High North Hero award winner Scott Minerd of Guggenheim Partners.
