More than 2,100 people attended the eighth annual lighting of Yoko Ono’s Imagine Peace Tower.
More than 2,100 people attended according to Iceland Review the eighth annual lighting of Yoko Ono’s Imagine Peace Tower on Viðey island off Reykjavík on Thursday evening—a new record,ruv.is reports.
The tower is lit each year on October 9, the birthday of Ono’s late husband John Lennon. A special ceremony is held on the occasion to which members of the public are invited.
