‘Rams’ to Compete at Oscars

The film Hrútar (Rams) has been selected to be Iceland’s contribution to the Oscars next year.
The film Hrútar (Rams) has been selected to be Iceland’s contribution to the Oscars next year, Iceland Rewiev reports.

It will compete in the category Best Foreign Language Film.

Grímur Hákonarson directed the film and wrote the script, but the producer is Grímar Jónsson. The movie has competed at three film festivals and won four awards, among them Un Certain Regard Award at the Cannes Film Festival.
