Iceland’s ‘Life in a Fishbowl’ Submitted for Oscar
The film Life in a Fishbowl (Vonarstræti) is selected as Iceland’s entry for the 2015 Best Foreign Language Oscar selection.
Members of the Icelandic Film and TV Academy have selected the film Life in a Fishbowl (Vonarstræti) as Iceland’s entry for the 2015 Best Foreign Language Oscar selection, Iceland Review reports.
The film is described in a press release as “a multiple-narrative drama that tells three distinct stories of people living in pre-crisis Iceland; a struggling single mother, an ex-footballer fast-tracking in the accelerating banking world and a troubled writer who has turned full time drunk.”
