Artist Colors Icelandic Geyser Pink

Denmark-based Chilean artist Marco Evaristti pour pink food coloring into erupting hot spring Strokkur in the Geysir geothermal area in South Iceland yesterday and recorded a video of it as part of his ‘Pink State’ art project, Iceland Review reports.

There are no traces of the pink color in the area anymore but the police are investigating the incident as a possible violation of the environment protection law, reports.

Evaristti claims to be a landscape painter who doesn’t use a canvas but paints nature directly.
